Conscious Skincare Accreditations are from well recognised and trusted organisations.
We are delighted to further our existing accreditation with EWG with the EWG VERIFIED™ programme.
What do these accreditations mean?
Skin Deep® is an educational tool for consumers which rates ingredients in personal care products. All our products have been independently rated with Skin Deep® (please see EWG Skin Deep information further down the page).
Our first products to be EWG VERIFIED™ are our Organic Shampoo and Rejuvenate Day Moisturizer.
EWG VERIFIED™ goes beyond ingredient labels by taking into account other criteria and offers the EWG VERIFIED™ mark for those products that meet the criteria. The mark is a quick and easily identifiable tool for consumers to identify products that meet these rigorous criteria at the point of sale.
EWG VERIFIED™ MEANS THIS PRODUCT AVOIDS EWG’S INGREDIENTS OF CONCERN, IS COMMITTED TO FULL TRANSPARENCY AND OPERATES UNDER GOOD MANUFACTURING PRACTICES.
• Meets EWG’s strictest criteria for transparency and health;
• Avoids ingredients that authoritative health bodies have flagged for potential health concern;
• Has labeling that fully discloses its ingredients;
• Uses adequate preservatives;
• Is free of contaminants; and
• Is a manufacturer that follows good manufacturing practices.
All of our products are fully approved by the Vegetarian Society to give you complete confidence and trust in the sourcing and nature of our ingredients. We are also delighted to recently have our range given the ‘Vegan approved’ accreditations by the Vegetarian Society. Please note all our products are now suitable for Vegans, with the exception of our Grapefruit Lemon and Cedarwood Shampoo which contains honeyquat. Alternative shampoos which are suitable for Vegans are available.
The Vegetarian Society Seedling Symbol trademark is now proudly displayed on a diverse range of over 5000 product lines available in the UK and abroad.
Millions of people have come to rely upon the symbol’s unique positioning. No other vegetarian trademark can give consumers such reassurance and inspire such trust.
The Coalition for Consumer Information on Cosmetics’ (CCIC) Leaping Bunny Program administers a cruelty-free standard accreditation. This is the internationally recognized Leaping Bunny Logo for companies producing cosmetics or household products.
The Leaping Bunny Program provides the best assurance that no animal testing is used in any phase of product development by the company, its laboratories, or suppliers.
‘We are delighted to receive Leaping Bunny certification! Although we know we would never test on animals and we check that our supply chain has the same principles, we wanted to let everyone else know exactly where we stand. Gaining third party recognition from such a well-respected organisation as Cruelty Free International will therefore enable us to do just that. ‘

You may like to visit the Environmental Working Group (EWG) website in the USA. This gives an independent, detailed analysis of all the ingredients we use in our skincare range.
We achieve the highest possible score both for our products and as a company!
We are also very proud to be approved as part of PETA’s Beauty Without Bunnies program. This is the ultimate resource for conscientious shoppers. It makes the quest for cruelty-free products as easy as (vegan) pie, especially as our Organic Skin care range is now approved for Vegans except for the Grapefruit Shampoo. However, our Pure Shampoo and Cypress and Sage Shampoo are Vegan friendly!
You can also visit their online database and search by company name or product type to learn which products are cruelty-free.
And when you’re out shopping, look for PETA’s cruelty-free bunny logos (pictured above). Products which display this logo are cruelty-free, meaning that they are produced without testing on animals.

Professional make up artist Jules Frances approached us to review some of our products. Jules has worked with clients and celebrities from all over the world, including Colin Firth, Sir Ben Kingsley, Olivia Williams, Tom Hanks and Julie Delpy to name but a few!
Here is what Jules had to say;
‘I’m very keen on these amazing products by Conscious Skincare. They not only smell divine, feel gorgeous but have the ingredients that I dream of! No nasties, just pure, thought out, conscious ingredients. I also love the cold pressed oils and the body butters. I’ve been using them a lot recently on my models for shoots and they all comment on how good they feel. I’ll get through the whole range at some point I’m sure but for now they are a winner. Check them out!’
